Willy vanderperre vs New York
Belgian fashion photographer Willy Vanderperre opened his first big solo show, “prints, film, posters and more” in New York City.
The artist who moved to Antwerp to study fashion design before switching to photography still lives and works there. Over the past two decades, he has collaborated with international magazines like Vogue, Love, Another Magazine, i-D and W and shot the campaigns for fashion houses like Prada, Jil Sander, Raf Simons, Dior Homme and Givenchy.Beside editorial fashion spreads, the exhibition also features work related to dance, theater and film. In an effort to remain close and accessible to a wider audience, posters, limited-edition T-shirts, pins and removable tattoos will be available for sale at the gallery.
